My name is David Soltesz and this is my tour.  I've been a tour guide in Philadelphia since BC (Before Covid). Being a tour guide was nowhere on the radar of my life until I moved to the city of Philadelphia in 2013.  I retired from a 30 year gig as a toll collector and bridge operator raising a bridge for ships.  I do have a baccalaureate in English literature.  I love stories.  Living in Philadelphia one can not escape historical stories.  The city has been officially existed  since 1682.  Not long after I moved to Philadelphia I became bitten by a bug to know more of the city's and country's story.  I seemed like every place I went in my studies presented yet another rabbit hole to get lost in.  There is incredible story after unbelievable story.  At some point though my inquiries took a dark turn.
